Save Dinnington Campus

Rotherham College have announced plans to close their Dinnington college in the summer, and sell off the land. The campus in Dinnington currently caters for a wide range of students, including special provision for those with a range of disabilities. The proposals are likely to lead to the loss of 30 jobs.

This decision could mean that some students can't finish their studies without travelling elsewhere. One of the proposed alternative sites is 12 miles away in Wath - a journey by public transport that takes around 90 minutes on two different buses.

Back the campaign

We call on Rotherham College to keep the Dinnington campus open for local students to study, and we call on Rotherham Council to provide support and funding to make sure that people can continue to study their courses locally in Dinnington.
